Mid-Century Poole Pottery Earthenware Bowl – Slip-Trailed Floral Design (1950) pheasant Here we have three CrestA striking mid century slip trailed earthenware bowl, attributed to Poole Pottery and dated 1950. The piece features a bold slip trailed floral motif in raised honey and ochre slip over a deep chocolate brown glaze, a style strongly associated with Pooles Traditional Ware and the influence of designer Truda Carter in the 1940s50s. The hand cut oval reserve on the underside, the slip trailed decoration, buff earthenware body and the distinctive
