1 Rupee, Nepal, 1968-70 Africa The reverse has an inscription1 Rupee banknote of Nepal, printed from 1968 70, during the reign of King Mahendra (1955 72). The note carries an image of the 1 rupee coin of Nepal a design element similar to the Indian 1 rupee note. This was the first note of Nepal where the word 'Mohru', the earlier currency, doesn't appear anywhere. The obverse carries an image of the 1 rupee coin on an elephant's back, and the watermark window to the left, with a temple at the center. The
