If you ever get the opportunity, take a date to see The Undertones. Maybe not as full of knockout tunes as the debut, but just as satisfying a record on the whole. This is what teen pop should really be, a sheer adrenaline fuelled rocket through adolescence. No holding back, witty and often quite politically incorrect. Superb.
